 In a moment of total frustration, I found myself standing on the 18th hole at Shell Landing Golf Course in Gautier, Mississippi. Hopelessness had peaked, and thoughts of giving up consumed my mind. With only 210 yards left to go, I felt defeated. Taking one last swing with a 3 hybrid, I figured this to be the last round of my life. Astonished, my ball screamed off the club face and landed just a few feet from the hole. In that moment, I knew I would chase that feeling forever. I was stuck with golf and golf was stuck with me. I had discovered the magic of golf. Perfection is unobtainable. The game is being the best version of yourself. Feeling compelled to share this passion with others, years later, I established my own golf coaching business. Despite starting with a high handicap, I worked tirelessly to improve, and inspired others to do the same. Passing on the excitement and energy of Golf is a tradition. It has the power to awaken the senses and forge lasting connections, and I am determined to introduce as many people as possible to the game. The memory of that shot on the 18th hole remains a constant reminder of the passion that drives me forward.
